Santa Claus Parade

The Town of Parry Sound is pleased to announce that the Santa Claus Parade, originally canceled due to severe weather on November 30th, has been tentatively rescheduled for Saturday, December 7th at 2:00 PM. This new date comes with assistance from the Downtown Business Association and an outpouring of volunteer support.

The parade will feature a slightly altered route through downtown. The parade will stage in Dunn’s Storage Parking Lot and travel along William, James and Bay Streets, ending at the Charles W. Stockey Centre. However, with the unpredictability of Northern Ontario’s weather, we stress that this reschedule is weather-dependent. Unfortunately, if severe winter weather occurs again, additional rescheduling will not be feasible.

The Town of Parry Sound expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers whose efforts are crucial in making this rescheduled event possible. We call on all past and new volunteers to assist in bringing this cherished community event to life for residents and attendees.

The rescheduled parade promises to bring much-needed holiday spirit and joy to our community. We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy the festive floats, holiday music, and a chance to see Santa in person.
