Visitor Information

The Town of Parry Sound operates a Visitors' Information Centre, located on the Town's Waterfront at 2 Bay Street sharing a facility with the Charles W. Stockey Centre and the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame.

 Monday - Sunday 10:00am to 6:00pm  

Monday - Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm  
Closed Sunday

Public Washrooms

Public washrooms are located at the corner of Seguin Street and Gibson Street, next to Gray's Paint & Flooring. Hours of operation effective March 26, 2020 until further notice.

Monday - Sunday 9:00am to 4:00pm
Closed December 25th, December 26th, and January 1st

Garbage & Dumping

If you are a visitor, please take your garbage home with you. Do not leave your garbage in public garbage cans or bins.

Residents of the Archipelago, Carling, McDougall, McKellar, Seguin, and Whitestone can dispose of accepted hazardous waste at the transfer station. Proof of residency is required. 

Residents of Archipelago can dispose of household garbage and recycling at the Transfer Station. Large items and scrap metal are not accepted. Proof of residency is required.

Please be advised that on November 15, 2016, Resolution 2016-217 was passed to discontinue the Recreational Vehicle dump out service. The Town of Parry Sound will no longer be providing this service at our Wastewater Treatment Plant.
