Press Release- Canada Day 2024

The Town of Parry Sound regretfully informs the public that the 2024 Ribfest portion of the Canada Day Celebrations scheduled from June 28- July 01, at the Stockey Centre has been cancelled, due to Rib Truck Owner(s) extenuating circumstances. 

The Town of Parry Sound will continue to move forward with Canada Day Celebrations on Monday, July 01, 2024 from 11am-10pm at the Charles W. Stockey Centre, culminating in a spectacular firework display over the inner harbour of Georgian Bay. 

More details regarding Canada Day celebrations will be released in the coming weeks on the Town's website and Social Media channels. The Town of Parry Sound is excited to offer a fun filled day for the whole family to celebrate July 1st. 

Participation from the community and local businesses through sponsorship and community booths are essential to host special events in our community. The Town of Parry Sound extends its sincere appreciation to our local businesses, who provided early sponsorship and participation in the 2024 event plans.
