Canada Post Strike

Effective November 15, 2024, Canada Post operation have shut down and mail service has stopped, after Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) and Canada Post failed to reach a negotiated settlement.

Please note the next water billing for flat rate customers will be November 20 and November 27.  Bills will be available at the Town office for pick up.  

Residents are still obligated to pay property tax and water/wastewater bills, as well as any fine/infractions, including court service fines and parking tickets, by the due date. To avoid late fees, interruptions, or delays, residents are encouraged to use alternative payment methods or delivery methods.

Public Notice - Transfer Station Winter Hours & Fall Leaf Pickup

The Town of Parry Sound's MacFarlane Street Transfer Station is now operating under winter hours. Please visit the garbage and recycling webpage for full transfer station hours. 

Also please be advised residential fall leaf collection will begin anytime after November 1st as it is weather dependent. Please have leaves in compostable bags out at the curb after November 1st. Town staff will collect any bags that are out or you can call the Town office to request your address be collected.
