Waubuno Beach
Waubuno Beach offers shallow waters with a gentle slope and soft clean sand.
Please Note: Waubuno Beach is supervised for the 2024 from Saturday, June 29th through to Friday, August 30th. The beach will be unsupervised beginning Saturday, August 31, 2024.
For the safety and betterment of all users, please adhere to the following beach rules:
- Children require direct supervision by parents, or adults at all times.
- Anyone with a medical condition (i.e. epilepsy, heart conditions) must inform the lifeguards before entering the water, or participating in park activities.
- For the safety of other patrons, dogs are not permitted on the beach (except Service Animals). All dogs much be leashed.
- For the safety of other patrons, please no throwing sand, horseplay, or bicycles on the beach.
- All patrons must swim inside the buoy line.
- Diving can result in serious injury or death; patrons are cautioned against diving.
- Fires are not permitted anywhere in the park.
- No glass on the beach.
- Alcoholic Beverages are not permitted anywhere in the park.
- Launching of non-motorized watercraft is prohibited from the beach.
- Please obey the whistle signals at all times:

- 1 long: clear water.
The beach also offers:
- A playground.
- Beach volleyball courts.
- Bicycle racks.
- Washrooms and change-rooms open seasonally from May - October.
- Large sandy beach.
- Snack bar.
Centennial Beach (Old Town Beach)
Centennial Beach is a small and quiet beach nestled between Sail Parry Sound and the Coast Guard Base, with pedestrian access from the Rotary Algonquin Regiment Fitness Trail.
Centennial Beach is unsupervised, meaning there are no lifeguards. For the safety and betterment of all users, please adhere to the following:
- Swim at your own risk. We highly recommend that all children be supervised, for their safety.
- No motorized boats (including launching or docking) on the beach.
- No dogs or pets are allowed to swim at the beach.
- No littering.
