Lottery Licence

A lottery licence is required if all of the following exists:

• a prize;
• a chance (to win the prize); and
• a consideration or a fee.

Types of lotteries that may be licensed include:

• raffle;
• break open tickets; and
• bingo.

Town of Parry Sound issues lottery licences to eligible groups and organizations. Groups must fill out an eligibility application . Once the eligibility has been reviewed and approved the group can then apply for a licence and include the fee with their application.
